Hi,
We are responding to a proposal to upgrade customer’s existing Siteminder 6.x environment to CA SSO 12.8.
We are planning to build a parallel environment and later on switch over to new environment and decommission existing 6.x environment.
Customer has roughly 64 domains, 147 realms, 9572 rules and 3904 polices in total (the actual numbers might differ, but not significantly). So manually recreating domains in new CA SSO environment is impossible.
I am assuming that I will still be able to do smobjexport to export policy data from 6.x and use smobjimport or XPSImport to import in 12.8. Is that assumption correct?
Are there any known risk associated with this ?
